Our Story

A family farm rooted in Bangor, Pennsylvania.

Heinsohn Farms LLC is a local, family owned and operated farm, greenhouse, and beekeeping operation. For generations our family has grown annuals, perennials, and mums, started vegetables and herbs, kept bees and harvested raw honey, and raised livestock — all on our own land.

Agriculture, beekeeping & community

Our story is rooted in agriculture and beekeeping, with generational knowledge passed down and refined over the years. What started as a family's love for growing has become a working farm on more than 40 acres — greenhouses full of plants, pasture for our animals, and hives producing the raw honey we're known for.

We're proud to be a Buy Fresh Buy Local Greater Lehigh Valley partner, serving retail neighbors and wholesale buyers alike, and to support the schools, churches, scouts, and teams that make our community strong.

What we stand for

Family Owned & Operated

Gabe and Jes Heinsohn and their family run the farm hands-on, every day, with care for the land and the community.

Grown on 40+ Acres

Over 40 acres of farmland in Bangor, PA — greenhouses, nursery stock, fields, pasture, and hives.

65+ Years of Beekeeping

Generations of family beekeeping. We keep our own bees and harvest pure, raw, unfiltered honey.

Community First

We support schools, churches, scouts, and sports teams through spring basket and fall mum fundraisers.

Supporting Local Agriculture

We believe in collaboration over competition — building strong local farming networks across the region.

Wholesale & Retail

Proud Buy Fresh Buy Local partner. We sell retail at the farm and wholesale to local buyers.

Community Involvement

Giving back, every season

We support schools, churches, sports teams, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and community organizations. Our spring hanging basket fundraisers and fall mum fundraisers help local groups raise funds through farm-grown products — and with about 10,000 mums grown each year, those efforts reach far across the community.

That same spirit shows up in our commitment to local beautification, landscaping, and supporting other regional farmers and growers.
